Identifying paths to net zero carbon operations since 2000 for various federal govenment departments and facilities. Major reasearch facilties are evaluated at life cycle investment periods to redistribute investment and technoloiges to acheive net zero outcomes by 2050.
Impact & Outcomes
Combining energy simluations with RETscreen life-cycle analysis, several alternative paths to net zero energy and greenhiouse gas emissions were evaluated, employing various shadow pricing scenarios for investment analyes. Assessment of climate change impacts, as modelled , on the facility infrastructure components build resiliece for these "Mid-Life" facility retrofits.
